Wren Troglodytes troglodytes - Tiny Treasure

Having heard the 'TIK' call early in the morning on several occasions during November I was hopeful of seeing a Wren in our garden. On this particular bright, cold winter's day two showed. Maybe the male will busy himself building several nests (5-8) for the female to choose between, as is their way. In the meantime I feel very privileged that this high energy little fidget of a bird which rarely stays in one place or position for more than a second should pop up from the leaf litter below to give me a reasonably prolonged eye level view as it grasped the tendril covered clump of creeper, its legs and feet barely discernable from the branches.

Thank you all for your kind responses.
