Kestrel Falco tinnunculus (M) - Backward Glance

It was a cold, windy day when this male Kestrel landed in a tree at the bottom of my garden. Scanning the field beyond for voles and mice he glances backwards whilst skilfully maintaining his balance.

 

I will be off line for a couple of weeks.
