Yellowhammer Emberiza citrinella - Showing Its Ginger Rump

Like many other farmland species Yellowhammer numbers are in decline. It was refreshing to watch a flock feeding on weed seeds in a wide field margin and drinking together from a puddle before flying back to a nearby hedge.
