Fallow Deer Dama dama White

i was surprised to see this female white Fallow Deer, the only one of its kind, in a herd of 10 or more in the New Forest. I have since learned that a group of around 20 white Fallow Deer roam the vast area of the New Forest. It is not and albino, its colour being due not to a lack of pigmentation but rather to s gene found in some Fallow Deer. They are also known as 'Judas Deer' for making the whole herd visible to poachers.
