Reed Bunting - Male

I struggled with ID for this little bird enjoying the wheat grain in a Northumberland field. My thanks to Tim Melling for explaining that this is a male Reed Bunting just moulting out of full breeding plumage. After breeding, brown feathers break through to camouflage the striking black and white head pattern, still visible. It has a diagnostic white moustache.
