"Pleasure experience" department
Felt quite different this morning. As you know, I can only exist during weekdays and before 5pm, time at which, I must return to "Cinderella", as I don't have the chance to live this fantasy 24/7. Thought about the "pleats" photos some of you posted over the week-end and thought I'd reciprocate. This dress, I managed to save from occasional purging -- more like 'making room" --, I won't go into detail but this is a dress style that must have been popular with certain women, at some time, "last century" (yes, I'm that old). It's got "pleats", one of my last "pleated dress" (I regret giving away so many of my hard-earned dresses in the past? It's not like I have a wardrobe full of dresses, waiting for me to try them on. Each of my dresses is like a "hunting trophy", obtained through efforts and sacrifices. Have no fear, I survived each of these and now feel quite rewarded)... So this is a "shirtdress", if I'm not mistaking. I must have worn it to some dinner, I'm sure, at some point. Paid it dirt cheap. It's practically "new", whoever used to own this dress before must hot have worn it all that much? It's a Leslie Faye. They used to make a ton of these, in various styles, in the '60s, 70s, perhaps 80s too. But not anymore. The style was "conservative", I guess. Still, I like wearing this dress. It's not my "number1" dress but it's quite feminine, in its own kind, and comfortable. I like the fact that it has long sleeves which hide my too masculine arms. Also noteworthy, in this image, is my "white" eye shadow. It's the first time I managed to get a white "creamy" and "opaque" look. I'm so thrilled :-)
