UK, Gwynedd, Penrhyndeudraeth. 11249

Summer Saturday's on the Cambrian in 1988 brought a good mix of 37's on the London Euston to Pwllheli train. This shows 37096 and 37372 accelerating the train away from a station stop in Penrhyndeudraeth, 11 coaches and mostly NSE livery. This ran as 1J19, 07:40 off Euston. It had a short lay-over in Pwllheli before returning. According to www.class37.co.uk/ these engines picked the train up at Shrewsbury but went back as far as Wolverhampton.
