Humor Monastery, Restored Fresco

The difference between "before" and "after" restoration is quite dramatic. Hundreds of years of candle smoke and neglect makes some of the Bucovina monastery paintings almost illegible. And don't even get me started about the graffiti... do people walk into the Louvre and write their names on the Mona Lisa?
