How I make a perfect up of tea.
1.Buy good quality loose leaf tea.
2.Boil the water then wait 2minutes.
3.At this point do not pre heat the teapot.
4.But a pinch of tea in per person and strangely for me it works just fine.
5.Pour the water into the pot, the ideal temperature is 95 degrees but who wants to measure with a thermometer.
6.Wait either 3- or 5-minutes dependent on the tea before pouring.
7.If the tea is large leaf I don’t bother with a tea strainer but that is up to the individual.
8.Then add milk, sugar, lemon or just nothing.
9.Enjoy.
Tea is my joy in life apart from photography. There are specialist shops that sell many types of tea and worth investgating. I'm no expert but if the water is too hot you don't get the full taste of the oils in the tea. I personally enjoy the tea black or with milk just depends how I want it.
The coloured tea timer is set at 3-4-5 minutes and works like an egg timer.
