Protest about my local station Hertford North on the Hertford Loop to London & Stevenage
Hertford North Booking Hall.
It’s a super station and the gateway to my working life. However as a disabled person all my life the access to platform 1 is getting more difficult as years go by. I don’t apologise for my condition but wheelchair access is almost impossible unless prior arrangements are made. The world has moved on since my youth and I’ve never made it an excuse in my life but in this day and age wheelchairs or people with limited physical ability should be treated better with ready access at this station. The new timetable limits the platform 3 service and is not in keeping with modern inconclusively. For the record I do not use a wheelchair and never have but because of my legs I live between the two worlds. I think that there should only one world with disability not being an issue. This post will not only go onto Flickr but other social media I use.
