Feb 2024 : Soggy!
This week's Sunday Landscape sums up the Dorset lowland farming landscape during Feb. 2024. On a trip out today, I could easily have photographed two or three dozen similar scenes, most of which were simply flooded fields rather than the floodplains of our main rivers. By contrast, February 2023 was incredibly dry which just goes to show that just as it has always been, predicting which months will be dry or wet in England is nigh on impossible.
