Great views in North Dorset yesterday of Marsh Fritillary (Euphydryas aurinia) butterfly-conservation.org/butterflies/marsh-fritillary
However, star of the show was arguably singing Nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos). That is a sound that I haven't heard in the wild for several decades. I did make a recording but haven't figured out how to download and edit it. So here is a YouTube clip of their wonderful song
