Only built in 2005, this locomotive saw relatively little active service for a variety of reasons including the economic crash of 2007-2010. Painted in a scheme that reflects that of Air Force One, the number is chosen because George Bush was the 41st President of the United States. Previously, it was last in Houston to haul his funeral train in 2018, a major event.

 

Photographed here as part of the 'Big Boy' 4014 operation, it was moved the following day to be donated by Union Pacific to the George Bush Presidential Library at College Station, TX. After prepping, the locomotive will be on permanent display in the pavilion from next year.
