Essentials 3

"This year Stone Belt created their Stone Belt Community Playback Troupe. Playback is improvisational theatre where audience members tell personal stories and a troupe of actors act these stories out for the audience. Our playback troupe is inclusive with actors with and with out disabilities from Bloomington, Indiana. This is the only playback troupe in the United States that has actors with disabilities. One form of playback theatre is creating a sculpture of someone’s story. Each actor was asked how they help or how they would like to help in our community. We then created this fluid sculpture of our experiences.
