Nigritella Xwettsteiniana is a hybrid between Nigritella miniata and Nigritella rhellicani.
The hybrid between Nigritella rhellicani and Nigritella miniata shows intermediate morphological characteristics compared to both parents.
In particular, the color of the flowers is lighter than in N. rhellicani, but definitely darker than in N. miniata and less brilliant.
The lips are well open and relatively wide (tending to N. rhellicani), the leaves of the perigoneum narrowly lanceolate and proportionally long (tending to N. miniata).
In terms of habit and inflorescence, it tends more towards N. miniata, but may vary.
The color of the flowers is a lighter reddish brown. At first sight, it is thought to be an overly light N. rhellicani.
