Storm Brewing?
I seem to have a fatal fascination for Porthkerry Viaduct near Barry in South Wales. I find it utterly compelling to return to the same spot with the splendid view of the Bristol Channel to record how our ever changing weather and light impact on this iconic structure, which oddly enough, has not been photographed that much with passing trains. Clear views, hazy views, rough seas, calm seas, all add to the fascination for me.
In a window of light, 66091 working the 4C96 Aberthaw - Cwmbargoed coal empties, heads east towards Barry. Taken at 8:28 pm.
