I think it's' time to head back to some scans from Bob Barnett's collection. For a matched Maine Central Monday, here is westbound Guilford train LASE with 3 Maine Central (former Rock Island) U25B's 225-229-230 passing the former B&M station in downtown Athol, MA on a crystal clear September 1982 day. Little did I know an hour after this slide was taken , I would stand next to Bob and his son Rich, at the East Deerfield bridge.
