April 1st...."C" Day, Conrail day, who'd ever thought after all these years we would wish having droves of matched C30-7A's and boring SD40-2's back on every train. The winter of 1994 saw the arrival of a new batch of GE C40-8W in a new scheme with Conrail's new slogan Conrail Quality". Here train TV-10B bound for Boston, passes the interchange G&U interchange at North Grafton, MA with a mile long train of trailers led by new GE 6228, and 3 "ordinary" SD40-2's at a brisk 50 mph. Good times, lots of trains and pride. January 5, 1994.
