Cat's Paw Nebula (NGC 6334)
Cat's Paw Nebula (NGC 6334) is an emission nebula and star-forming region located in the constellation Scorpius. It is 5,500 light years from Earth. The red colour comes from an abundance of ionized hydrogen atoms.
I only took three exposures for this image as I was focused on capturing my first galaxy image this night. However everything worked out perfectly with my alignment on this night. In retrospect I wish I took more exposures for this image.
Capture Details:
Exposure duration (lights): 3x 300s (15m)
Darks: 10
Bias: 20
ISO: 800
Canon EOS 1100D
