Sculptor Galaxy (NFC253)

Sculpture Galaxy (NGC253). My first attempt at a galaxy and the furthest object I have photographed. The sculpture galaxy is estimated to be 11.4 million light years from earth. It's undergoing an intense period of star formation. The Galaxy is located at the center of the Sculptor Group, one of the nearest groups of galaxies to the Milky Way.
