My favorite C&NW branch was the Watertown Branch in South Dakota. It was based in Watertown and ran south to a connection with the Huron mainline at Sioux Valley Junction (just west of Brookings). Its main traffic was a cement plant in Watertown. Here's the northbound train at Estelline on August 4, 1979 with RSD-4 1517.
