My oldest Zorki 4, built in 1958. The main difference with these early models compared to the millions that followed in the next 20 years is the bigger viewfinder, the decorative viewfinder trim, a much stronger anti-reflection coating in the viewfinder and the all important strap lugs.
I think in terms of looks, this first series i's the best looking of the bunch. The dark blue tinted viewfinder certainly gives it a distinct look and perhaps helps contrast and viewfinder quality.
