This was the camera that made me want to explore the photo world. Please bow in respect! I took one from a girlfriend of that time in my vacations and was surprised at the quality of the photos! Granted, I was used to the terrible quality of my father's Agfa something, but this Yashica really blew me away!. Don't rush to comment that I dumped the girlfriend and kept the camera, this is a different unit! Very nicely built, with a very, very sharp Yashinon lens. One of the rare in between the lens shutter cameras with a top speed of 1/1000th. The fact that this is a very common camera should not detract us from the fact that it was a high quality machine. Without these gems, we would still be taking pictures with Dacoras and Paxettes and their Isco or Enna lenses. Thank you Yashica!
