The 770,000-square-foot / 71,535-square-metre complex includes a 650,000-square-foot / 60,385-square-metre final assembly building (FAB) and a 120,000-square-foot / 11,150-square-metre flight test hangar (FTH).
The first BD-700 produced at Toronto Pearson, Global 6500 serial number 60131 (C-GXZV), departed there on Sunday March 17, 2024 and flew to the Laurent Beaudoin Completion Centre at Dorval, Quebec.
