PH-BFT, a Boeing 747-406M, on approach to runway 23 at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. "City of Tokyo" was arriving as KLM691 (Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappin N.V., operating as KLM Royal Dutch Airlines) from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

 

Only 20 days later, PH-BFT became the last KLM 747 to ever visit Toronto. On March 29, she landed at Amsterdam after operating KLM686 from Mexico City. It was the last 747 passenger service ever operated by the airline.

 

After performing cargo-only flights, she was retired on October 24, 2020. She has been in storage at Kansas City, Missouri since December 7, 2020.
