1955 Boucle Suit dress
This is a mock-wrap, asymmetric suit dress that I made using a vintage Simplicity #1353 pattern, year 1955. I did all the finishing and edge stitching by hand, and lined the entire dress for warmth and comfort. I was inspired to make this dress after seeing the dusty blue suit worn by Marvel's Agent Peggy Carter in the movie, "Captain America: Winter Soldier".
