Borbudur

Borobudur, another Wonder of the World, was the primary reason I chose Yogyakarta as my first go-to destination in Indonesia. Located in central java and considered to be the worlds largest Buddhist Temple, the architectural beauty of this structure is bound to leave you mesmerized. Amazing how the British, during their short five-year rule in this country managed to discover this marvel, along with several others. And astounding how these structures have survived since the 9th century, after being hit multiple times by natural disasters.
