Cobalt Caldron
Hiked up to Caldron Lake near Peyto Lake yesterday. We were the only ones there which made it even more special to soak in the view of this massive alpine gem. Keep in mind that if you want to hike here, the bridge to cross the stream is washed out (we searched upstream in the glacial outwash and couldn't find it, so we ended up removing our boots and wading through knee deep water). The silty water is practically opaque so you can't even see your feet beneath the surface nor where the rocks are, making the creek crossing a little nerve-racking.
