Moraine Descent

As we descended the lateral moraine in the late afternoon, some dappled light shone down upon the glacial environment and I couldn't help but snap a photo. The turquoise waters of Peyto Lake are visible in the distance, fed by threads of rushing braided streams coming from the icefields behind us.
