A Familiar Scene

A shot of one of the most highly photographed and well-known mountains in the entire Canadian Rockies--Mount Rundle. However, this angle is slightly different that the classic scene from the shores of Vermilion Lakes. I scrambled up Mount Cory with my dad, and as we plodded along the serrated spine of the mountain, we came closer and closer to reaching the classic view of Mount Rundle, despite being over 1000 meters higher than the lakeshore below. It felt great to get a shot like this where a familiar mountain appears new and fresh again. Black and white looked the best to me. Thanks for looking!
