Gray Catbird's Embarrassing Landing

This juvenile Gray Catbird wasn't too comfortable with his wings. He had difficulty with his landing apparatus, tilting sideways as he touched down and unable to achieve balance. After several minutes of experimentation he finally managed to sit properly but he still didn't know what to do with his wings, so he just let them droop. After several attempts he figured out how to maneuver them to their proper positions alongside his body. It took him at least ten minutes to finally get settled. I think he needs to return to bird training school and take a refresher course on proper landing skills. It was quite entertaining to watch him, and he did seem to be a bit embarrassed. Backyard bird.
