Mouse for Breakfast

We watched the red-tailed hawk fly from tree to tree, now and then tormenting the wood ducks. Eventually he flew into the bushes and emerged with this mouse for his breakfast. It was a good morning for the hawk, not so great for the mouse. The morning light was harsh and the background could've been better. Wildwood Park, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
