Trying to look intimidating, this male broad-tail hummingbird is stretched about as big as can be.
It seems the rufous males have calmed down a bit and are letting the other hummers in on the feeder goodies. Last night there were ten hummers flitting around a six seat feeder. I might be needing to put up another feeder!
