Teeny, tiny wings
A black-necked stilt chick stretches its tiny wings as it explores its new world. Mom was nearby, closely watching this little one and its two siblings. So cute!
This was not an easy capture to get as there were many reeds blocking the view. I had to wait as it explored, hoping that it would eventually move to where I could get a clear shot. Did I mention there are alligators around here as well?
