Garden Glow
I went out shooting this morning with Flickr friend, Charles Therit to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It had snowed yesterday which sometimes can provide for some great photo opportunities in the park. We got up early and put a plan together, which was to drive until we saw something we liked! Here is an amazing image he posted:

The image above is from the first spot we stopped. I had taken images at this overlook in the past, but nothing at first light. We were greeted with amazing color and light as the sun approached the horizon and began to glow against the rock formations in the central garden . It was really cold but well worth the effort.
