‘Scene’ on a visit to ‘Hulleys of Baslow’

The last time I was in Hulleys depot is nearly 50 years ago, so a return visit was about due.
Organised by ‘Transpire’, the Chesterfield Bus Society, and well supported by the company with the provision of buses for the outing.
Thanks must go to Mr. Alfred Crofts, Hulleys owner, and his staff for their interest and support, also for refreshments at Baslow and a wide variety of company memorabilia that were raffled off during the course of the evening.
Three buses were used for the journeys from and to Chesterfield and a tour round the villages to the west of Bakewell.
The flagship of the fleet having been purchased new in 2021 as part of Hulleys centenary celebrations.
This was our transport from Chesterfield to Baslow.
