sarah-004

This is a shot from a photoshoot with Sarah, a very talented and beautifull model.

I'm a location shooter but since the weather in Belgium isn't allways fun to work in, I decided to transform my office into a (very) small studio. Just so I have a plan B when the weather is too bad. At the moment the studio is far from finished and I only have one studiolight and a couple of speedlights. Time to see what I can do with this (lack of) equipment and some imagination.

The model is lit with my cheap Chinese studiolight (a 300ws on 1/32 power) and a big softbox (placed horizontally) from above and right in front. My assistant for the day (Thanks Ake) held a white reflector under Sarah's face to get some classic beauty light.

The background was lit with a single SB-24 (I think at 1/16) on a Nano stand behind and to the right of the model. I zoomed the SB-24 in and placed it close to the grey wall to create a ray of light.

Triggered with PW's.

In the RAW-converter I choose a cooler whitebalans and desaturated the image slightly
