Shooting families isn't always easy. Different characters, looks, clothes and sometimes clashing ego's. None of these problems on this shoot. This was one of those shoots that I realise that I'm so lucky that I can do this for a living.
LIGHTING INFO:
When you think there's no good background available for a groupshot, look up. Often the sky is a great backdrop. I underexposed the ambient for a nice deep blue sky. To light the group, I used a bare Vivitar 285HV on full power, slightly left of the camera at eye-level of the subjects.
