Neon lamp.
GEC Osglim Beehive Neon Lamp from the 1930s. A 5-watt low energy bulb, it has passed through three generations of our family. Still working, although not in use, its orange-red glow used to illuminate (almost!) the steps down to the cellar in our family home.
The last time it was plugged into a lamp holder and switched on was for the 2018 Macro Mondays theme "Inside Electronics".
