Daryl's Razorback
It's a week of 1983 Cadillacs. Next thing you know it'll be an Eldorado. I was passing Daryl's car when we got to talking, because I used to have an '85 Eldorado and because his car's for sale. Nice guy.
The "razorback" was inspired by a 1950's Rolls Royce, bodied by Hooper. The Razorback was very polarizing when it was new, and it doesn't look like anything else on the road now. The Eldorado and Seville at this time, of course, were both on GM's E-body platform along with the Buick Riviera and Oldsmobile Toronado. Although never referred to as one at the time, the Razorback Seville is a "four door coupe" like the earlier Rover P5 Coupe and the later VW CC and Mercedes CLS.
