The Nic Collection ..........Very Useful

I took this shot at the end of my afternoon on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal it show Blossoms Tea Rooms and the 1st lock that take boats down into the marina & basin.I took the shot and never checked it just walked on back to the car and home .when i saw it on the computer i was very disappointed with my effort ,the exposure was rubbish ,the sky showed a little detail and the foreground was almost blacked out but i liked the composition so played around with it in PS Elements 14 but could not get it as i wanted it .A few months back i had down loaded The Nic Collection ,Googles free editing software add on's so i gave them a try not having used them before and i must say they are very good ,it let me just give the last little tweak that the shot needed ......you could say "well get it right 1st time and you don't need to use these tools " but we don't do we ....not all the time anyway.......Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal,Stourport-On-Severn To Kidderminster leg,North Worcestershire ,England
