Former Canadian Pacific M630 4563 curves into the late afternoon sun west of Hornell, New York. This was my very first chase of a Big MLW on the WNY&P and we could not have asked for a better leader. Thanks in large part to friend Ben Martin, I spent a lot of time on the Western New York and Pennsylvania in the year 2009. Ten years later, I spent a lot more time on the WNY&P once again, thanks in large part to friend Zach Kedge. WNYP 631 is stored OOS in Olean with major mechanical maladies, while the line from Cuba to Hornell remains silent with no customers and B&P handling traffic off NS from Buffalo-Salamanca.
