Most of the year the rare bronze trout lives in or near Bogart park. But every fall they migrate to their spawning grounds above Grotto Falls on Hyalite creek. They can grow to 4 feet long and weigh several hundred pounds.
The most remarkable aspect of these trout is the way they spit a stream of fresh, drinkable water out of the mouth whenever you poke it in the eye.
