Basketball: Butte College men defeat Shasta College - Oroville, California (1/11/2014)
The Butte College Roadrunners used their size advantage to overcome the Shasta College Knights at home last Saturday in what was one of the most exciting basketball games I have seen in a while. Both teams were fast and aggressive, and the score remained close at 31-29 in Butte’s favor at halftime. The Roadrunners forged ahead in the second half and led by 12 points at one time, but Shasta made a late run that closed the gap. However, Butte held on and eventually prevailed with a 75-68 win for a 2-0 start in conference play for the defending champs.
#32 was his usual masterful self and garnered a game-high 20 points for Butte.
This is one of a set of six shots. Shots were taken with Nikon D700 + 50 mm. f/1.8 or 80-200 f/2.8. Exposure was 1/640 and f/2.8 at ISO 5,000 or 6,400.
