Von Furstenberg and her family have long been supporters of the city's elevated park. The Diller - von Furstenberg Family Foundation has pledged a total of $35 million to the High Line over the years, including a whopping $20 million last year to help build the park's third section — the largest gift ever to a New York City public park.
