Gobi Desert Placard

Just visible to the right is a fossil dinosaur egg found in the Gobi Desert. This area was once lush with vegetation. How did it get buried? Could and egg with the parent sitting on it be buried inch by inch over millions of years? Hardly. Had to have been instantaneous; like a mud flow during the flood.
