A salt-glazed firebrick produced at the Lambton Collieries 'D' Pit, Bournmoor in County Durham, found in an abandoned back-garden in the Scotswood area of Newcastle upon Tyne, and no doubt originally acquired from one of the numerous former industries on the nearby banks of the River Tyne.
