On the bell for Morgan
I unfortunately never visited Morgan Tower in downtown Quincy, Ohio, but I presume eastbound trains on the Big Four/NYC/PC/CR would have been ringing the bell inside the tower and showing up on the model board at this point, if not sooner while approaching town. This intermediate signal serves as the distant interlocking signal for the diamond that Morgan Tower controlled when it was there with I&O's old DT&I main.
On this particular morning CSX train I008 (East St. Louis, IL Rose Lake Yard, to North Bergen, NJ, stacks, trailers) splits the intermediates and is "on the bell" approaching Quincy on CSX's former Big Four (CCC&StL)/NYC/PC/CR Indianapolis Line Sub.
