Hitting the diamonds

Slamming across NS' former PRR Sandusky District diamonds, CSX train Q106 (East St. Louis, IL, Rose Lake Yard to Marion, OH, stacks), aka "The Schneider Train" is near the end of his trip in Marion, Ohio. Q106 is traveling on CSX's former Big 4 (CCC&StL)/NYC/PC/CR Indianapolis Line, although this portion is now known as the Mt. Victory Sub, and has also just hit the diamonds of CSX's former C&O Pemberville Sub on a perfect fall evening. Erie's AC (Atlantic Crossing) Tower that once guarded and controlled all diamonds here now sits idly by in pristine condition, preserved for all to witness, although is now on the opposite side of the former Big 4 and Erie mains.

Q106 was recently abolished and replaced by a new Q292 running through to Collinwood Yard in Cleveland.
