Ex-Cons and a tri-light

While I would rather see them in their original blue, these ex-Cons are looking pretty sharp as black horses heading up NS train 14Q (Elkhart, IN to Bellevue, OH, manifest) rolling by the vintage type G tri-light intermediate signal at MP 393 on NS' ex-LS&MS/NYC/PC/CR Chicago Line on a cool crisp Saturday afternoon.

Leader NS 3367 is an SD40-2 and was originally CR 6422. It was built by EMD for Conrail in September of 1977.

The trailing unit, NS 3033 is a GP40-2 and was originally CR 3334. It was built by EMD for Conrail in June of 1978.

The signal is quite endangered at this point.
